What the engine saw today

Every market where something happened today, on its chart, marked up the ICT way: the sessions, the liquidity that was resting and what was swept, the shift in structure, the gap, and the order with its stop, TP1 and TP2. Beside it, the engine's checklist and its read of the day in order.

Track record

Every signal per market over the track-record window (30 days on 5-minute, 7 on 1-minute), run through the backtester's conservative fills: entry on the next bar, spread charged, and the stop assumed hit first when a bar touches both.

Research lab

Before trusting the engine on a new market, test it. This runs the exact ICT rules and the conservative backtester over months of real Deriv candles, on any execution timeframe, and tells you how often setups form and whether they paid.

ⓘWhy test Volatility indices first? ICT never taught them. Deriv generates them by computer with fixed volatility, 24/7, with no sessions, news or institutional orders, so killzones, sweeps and gaps may mean nothing there. Two modes separate the questions: ICT killzones (the time model + price model, as on forex) and All day (the price model alone, at any hour).
Markets
Execution timeframes
Time model
Entry model
Silver Bullet and Judas Swing are time models: they only run with the ICT killzones on 1-30 min. In All day mode, or from 1 hour up, they would take exactly the ICT 2022 Model's trades, so those tests are skipped.
What gets tested, and how much

Each test downloads real Deriv candles for the market, 5,000 at a time, back to the start of the period below, then replays every candle through the model you chose: the same rules as the live signals, with the spread charged, and when one candle touches both the stop and the target, the stop counts.

  • Less can come back. The download stops after 35 seconds, and some markets have no older data. When a test covers less than the full period, its result says so.
  • Weekends are closed for forex, gold and indices, so 90 days is about 64 trading days. Synthetics trade every day.
  • About 30 trades are needed before a result means anything; below that it shows "Too few trades".
  • Killzones apply up to 30 minutes. From 1 hour up, candles are too big for a killzone, so the rules run at any hour against prior-day (or, from 4 hours, prior-week) levels: ICT's swing and position trading.
  • One period is one season. A model can do well while markets trend and badly while they range, so test it on 5m and 15m, and on several markets, before trusting it.

Trading bot

Connect your Deriv account and the bot can place the engine's signals for you, with the stop-loss and take-profit attached, and let you edit or close any position. Start on a demo account.

Not connected

Always-on auto-trading

Runs on our server every minute, even when this page and your phone are closed. It places the engine's signals on the Deriv account you choose, with stop-loss and take-profit attached, inside the limits you set. Each person enrolls their own account.

Off

Connect your own Deriv account

Anyone with a Deriv account can use the bot. Each person connects their own account on their own device: the key is kept only in this browser, never on our server, and you can delete it on Deriv at any time. Start on a demo account.

Option 1 · Log in with Deriv

One click: Deriv asks you to approve ICT Flux, then sends you back here connected.

If Deriv shows an error page, use option 2: Deriv's web login is not available in every country yet.

Option 2 · Paste an API token
  1. Don't have Deriv yet? Open a free account (it comes with a demo account).
  2. Sign in at developers.deriv.com with your Deriv login and open API tokens.
  3. Create a token with only Trade and Account management ticked. Never tick Payments.
  4. Copy it and paste it below.

Trade in MetaTrader 5 too

Want the trades inside your Deriv MT5 account, where you can watch them in MT5? Install the ICT Flux robot: it places the same signals there, with stop loss, TP1 and TP2, inside the limits you set. MT5 must stay open on a computer (or a VPS) that stays on; the MT5 phone app cannot run robots.

  1. Download the robot below. In MT5: File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts, and put the file there.
  2. In MT5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors, tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL, add https://ict-trader.vercel.app, OK.
  3. In the Navigator panel, right-click Expert Advisors → Refresh, then drag ICTFluxMT5 onto any one chart. Set your risk, tick Allow Algo Trading, OK.
  4. Click Algo Trading in the toolbar so it turns green. The Experts tab (bottom) shows every trade it places or skips.
Download the MT5 robot
ⓘDeriv executes these as multiplier contracts: the bot sizes the stake and multiplier so that hitting the engine's stop loses your chosen risk, and the take-profit sits at the engine's target. Deriv options have no resting entry orders, so the bot enters at market as soon as a signal fires, exactly as the backtest assumes. Auto-trading runs only while this page (or the installed app) is open and awake; on a phone, keep the app in the foreground with the screen on. Trading carries risk; use a demo account until the track record proves itself.

Trade review

Every trade the engine took in the track-record window, wins and losses, drawn on the real candles: the liquidity it swept, the shift in structure, the fair value gap, where the limit filled and how it ended. Each one sits beside the ICT Mentorship chart that shows the same rule.

ICT chart library

The 60 frames captured from the 2022 ICT Mentorship and 5 generated rule diagrams. Every image was checked by eye: the captions describe what is actually on the chart, and the rule tags are only the rules you can see on it. Where the archive's own description was wrong (many frames are a different market or timeframe than listed), the correction is noted. Title cards, comment screenshots and blurred transitions are kept here but marked, and are never used as rule examples.

Position size calculator

Lot size from your balance, risk and stop, with every relevant risk rule checked as you type, and the trade-management levels worked out for you.

The playbook

Every rule the engine follows, from the 2022 ICT Mentorship and later models. Each one has an ID that appears in the engine's trade journal, so every trade can be traced to the rule that made it.

Market cheat sheet

How the same model adapts across gold, forex and index futures.

Open decisions

Places where ICT taught more than one valid way. The engine defaults to the recommended option; each can be changed in the config.

Rules, not hunches

An ICT trading engine that shows its working.

ICT Flux turns the ICT Time-and-Price model into explicit, tested rules. It only looks for trades inside killzones, waits for a liquidity sweep and a real shift in structure, sizes every position from hard risk limits, and logs the rule behind every decision. The backtester and the live runner run exactly the same code.

How a trade happens

Wait for the window

Only inside a killzone for that market: London 02:00–05:00, NY AM, or NY PM. Never in the lunch hour or around red-folder news.

Liquidity gets taken

Price runs beyond a reference level (Asian range, prior-day high/low) in the right order. That's the stop-hunt ICT calls a sweep.

Structure shifts

Price displaces back through a recent swing with large candles, leaving a 3-candle fair value gap in premium (shorts) or discount (longs).

Limit order in the gap

Entry at the gap edge or its 50% level. Stop beyond the sweep. Target the opposing pool of liquidity, minimum 1.5R.

Risk decides the size

1% base risk, halved after a loss, quartered after two. Daily and weekly loss floors stop everything; nothing overrides them.

Managed to the end

Stop trimmed at 50% of target, breakeven at 75%, partials at the first pool, flat by 16:00 NY and before the weekend.

Built-in safety rails

These can't be switched off from the strategy side.

Dry run by default

Live mode only sends orders with --execute, and refuses real-money accounts without an explicit flag.

Never unprotected

If a broker rejects the stop, the MT4 bridge closes the trade immediately.

Kill switch

Create a file named STOP and every position is flattened and the engine stops.

Full journal

Every decision, entry and exit is written to SQLite with the rule ID that caused it.

Where the prices come from

Real-time 5-minute prices come from Deriv's public feed, which needs no account and is available in Nigeria. Markets Deriv doesn't list (grains, gas) fall back to delayed public data and are labelled as such.

Live prices, no setup

Forex, metals, global indices and crypto stream from Deriv in real time. The engine checks them every minute.

Nothing to configure

Prices come from Deriv's public market-data endpoint, which needs no account, app ID or token. A registered Deriv app is only needed later, for "Log in with Deriv" and one-tap trading.

Scan every minute

A free job at cron-job.org calls /api/scan?notify=1 every minute on weekdays, which sends the push alerts.

Run it yourself

Pure Python 3.11+. Works with MetaTrader 5 (official API) or MetaTrader 4 (included bridge EA), normally on a Windows VPS.
